There’s no argument that no matter what your industry or vertical, technology is transforming the way businesses operate. That transformation impacts, or has the ability to impact, every aspect of business: HR, sales, marketing, customer service, research and development, and especially corporate culture.
So what about you and your company? Whether it’s large or small, chances are good you are experiencing disruption in your industry and working to get arms around digital transformation. How has the rapid pace of change impacted your business? What strategies do your senior executives leverage to deal with disruption? What about encouraging disruption and innovation? Who leads that charge?
Who within the organization is providing forward-thinking strategies as it relates to digital transformation? Is it your CEO, CIO, CMO, CTO—or is it a combination of different players on the executive leadership team. How is that working?
Looking ahead in the next 12 to 18 months, what do you think the future holds? Do you feel confident that you and your team are headed in the right direction or worried that you’re losing a competitive advantage to others in the industry who might be embracing technology and adopting digital transformation tactics more rapidly? What do you see ahead? Do you think digital transformation will create more jobs and opportunities within your organization or do you see fewer jobs being created as a result of technology adoption?
Seem like a lot? Don’t worry, you’re not alone if you feel a little overwhelmed when thinking about all that’s involved as you navigate a journey of digital transformation. It’s a bit like being on a very high cliff, trusting your instincts, and diving in. Because one thing we know from talking with hundreds of senior executives who are immersed in the digital transformation process is this: It’s scary as hell. But you can’t do it effectively without going all in.
All these questions and more are the things that your peers in the C-Suit are wrestling with, and to help gather insights from key industry leaders—like you and your team—we’ve developed a short survey as a way to take the pulse on where the industry as a whole is with regard to disruption and digital transformation. The survey will take, at most, about eight minutes of your time. We’ve gotten great participation from senior executives from organizations of all sizes, all over the world, and we’d love to include your insights.
Once the survey results are in, you’ll be the first to get a copy of the State of Digital Transformation Report, which can be used to help guide you in the coming months.
