On this weeks #CloudTalk we have special guest Cody Cornell the Founder and CEO at Swimlane a platform designed to help organizations automate their security operations. Cody is a Cyber Security thought leader who began his career in the U.S. Coast Guard then supporting numerous security roles supporting Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) where he was became a mentor, leader and friend of CloudTalk co-host Brian Fanzo. Cody has also spent time supporting American Express and IBM Global Business Services before he cofounded Phoenix Data Security in 2011.
Our topic this week is Leveraging Data & Automation to Scale Cyber Security Operations, data has been a big theme over the past 14 weeks of CloudTalk and an even bigger topic has been securities role in cloud technologies, innovation and the future of work.

Here’s a question for security analysts and managers: How often are you able to clear your email inbox, remove all the alerts from all of your monitoring tools, update processes and still have time to respond to a few of those outstanding audit findings?
Most security professionals are too bogged down to get through all of these tasks on any given day, let alone find time to complete proactive projects like improving security awareness training, maturing a vulnerability management program or running incident response exercises.
