Analyst Take: Juniper is burnishing its overall security and SASE credentials with the launch of Juniper Secure Edge. For Secure Edge, Juniper is putting portfolio development and marketing emphasis on high-priority security capabilities that include unified policy management, secure user access from anywhere, dynamic Zero Trust segmentation, investment protection, identity provider integration, and third-party security validation.

I see Juniper Secure Edge playing an integral role in further boosting Juniper’s influence across the security landscape. Although Juniper’s fiscal Q4 2021 revenues were flat based on Q/Q growth, the company saw orders double on a Y/Y basis. In terms of momentum, Juniper registered double digit growth in its mid-range firewall SRX series Q/Q and Y/Y, in branch SRX Q/Q as well as in threat mitigation and applications Y/Y.
