Industrial IoT Takes the Market By Storm

Recapping the Intel Powered Dell IoT Solutions Display at Mobile World Congress 2016

At this year’s Mobile World Congress, one of the standout technologies was without question Internet of Things. Sure, it’s a mobile event, but with the impact of IoT, the mobile experience is changing.

As part of my MWC journey, I had a unique opportunity to speak with the Dell team and two of their exciting new partners Xaptum who simplifies how disparate networks communicate with the Internet of Things and Azeti, who leverages the Dell IoT platform to create smarter buildings and manufacturing facilities.

Instead of just interviewing them and writing up their remarks, I took to Periscope to record their insights on how IoT Solutions are not only changing fitness and wearables, but are making a significant impact in business and industry. This trend, sometimes referred to as the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), will soon be one of the most game changing vehicles for businesses looking for greater data insights that yield better business results.

Let’s take a look at the interviews.

First, a conversation with @benjaminatdell, who is one of the IoT Solutions Leads at Dell

Next, I had the chance to speak with Azeti, about their smarter building and manufacturing tools leveraging IoT.

Finally, I had an inspired conversation with the Xaptum leadership team, who called themselves, “The Twitter of IoT”

3 Great conversations with 3 companies that are leaving a huge mark on the future of IoT. I have no doubt that the IIoT discussion is going to continue to grow at future Mobile World Congresses, and its massive impact on the enterprise of the future.
